Yes. Heymail can import from Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail, and any IMAP-compatible provider. Setup takes about 3 minutes. We import your existing threads, labels, and contacts. Your old account keeps receiving mail in parallel until you're ready to cut over.
Messages are encrypted on your device before they leave it and decrypted only on the recipient's device. Heymail's servers store only ciphertext — we have no technical ability to read your mail. This is powered by the Signal protocol and audited annually by an independent security firm.
You can export all of your data — emails, tasks, contacts, and attachments — at any time from account settings. If you cancel, you have 90 days to export before your data is permanently deleted. We don't hold your data hostage or charge for exports.
